Work Bench Magazine March/April 1963

Featured Replies

Here is our daily installment of Work Bench Magazine, I am now including the inside cover table of contents in case any of our members would like to request any of the articles in the magazine. If you see anything you like, please leave a note in this discussion and tell us which article or plan your interested in seeing and we will scan a PDF and post it here.

Now just a quick comment, I love these old magazines, look at the old RAS on that beautiful saw station work bench. Note the cool loafers the gentleman is wearing, his dress slacks, class man, just flat out class. I hope you enjoy these as much as I have. Again, if you see an article you'd like me to post here out of this issue, just post a note below. Click on the image to see a larger image, when you click on the image you'll be taken to the images solo page, then click on the image again, and you'll see it nice and big for your eyes to pick up on the small print.

I love ANY old plans for anything.

I also saw the "mirror resilvering" and would love to know how to do it.

And the shop made pulleys look interesting too!!

Whooooaaa! Mike, which one would you like to see first? Let me know and I'll get it up for you today.

Thanks buddy for your interest, this is great!

Man, i would love to build that cabinet.  I have a radial arm saw that I bought from habitat for humanity with all the attachments for $75.  It would be nice to set it up like that....

I'd love to see the display work cabinet on page 54 or the mirror resilvering on page 30.

Whenever you get the chance, Thanks!!!  Mike  Dragon1

I love that the saw rotates away to free up space when you're not using it. If I have one complaint of my small workspace, it's that all the equipment leaves little room for just a straight up work area.

A great design indeed Justin, that is what I noticed too right of the bat, the instant work area once the arm was swung away.
