Anyone have a Rikon Model 70-50 wood lathe?  Comments?  Pros and Cons?

Can't comment on their lathes, but I got to use one of their bandsaws.  It was a beautiful machine that was extremely well built.

I can't get to my lathe right now, but from the pictures I've found online the 70-050 looks like my minis.  I got 2 of them to use at school and I liked them pretty well.  One thing I liked is if you need to replace a belt it just slips on, while on some of them you need to take things apart to get the belt around the shaft.  The main problem we had with them was getting the faceplates off.  There wasn't a good place to get a second wrench on to hold the shaft while you twist the fastplate.  As a result the guys would lock down the indexing pin and that didn't hold up at all.  Overall I liked them and I'd get them again.  Using one in your own shop where you care is a lot different than in a high school shop where someone might care about something, maybe.
