Thank you all for the warm welcome you have given me. I am a retired Police Officer and
my wife passed and its just me and the cat. I always wanted get into wood working but never had time. Now there is time and a lot to learn. I'm just getting started but have a small shop and have found a lot of good tools.
My other hobby is ham radio so I have lot to do. I'm 70 years old and live in Wasilla, Alaska
about 45 miles north of Anchorage.

Hey Art, thanks for joining up with us, we are glad your here. I think Alaska is one the most beautiful states in the union, and  some of the most beautiful country in the world, and this coming from a guy who has never been there! But I have seen pictures and documentarys!

I am sorry about your wife passing.

We are here for you when your ready to jump in and share with us what you know, and you need to know about woodworking. Be sure to post some pics of your works in progress too.
