Here's a simple jig I made for locating the 1 3/8" hole when using the Blum European type concealed hinges.


Note that it can be "rotated" for both ends on the door. 


Place the jig, and then use a "Vix" bit to drill a pilot hole for your 1 3/8 " Forstner bit.


The extra hole in the corner is used to hang up the jig.

Excellent Larry! That is a good jig man, because Blum sells their own jig for this and it costs around 45 bucks!  Good job!


Looks like I need to edit our foul language list, last I heard "Hole" was not a bad word.
