June 26, 201114 yr An old friend of mine was the first to invent the tape measure with a built in marking device right at the scribing location. Â Newell Rubbermaid bought it and I've never seen it since, but perhaps it's out there.
June 26, 201114 yr Card scrapers.  I usually make do with a freshly cut piece of glass instead.  Work sharp systems.    I been using my beltsander, clamped in a vise.   A honing guide and a fine grit belt. Â
June 27, 201114 yr Could we have a swap shop or items that members have for sale. I have been looking for a draw knife with a 12"-14" blade. I don't really want to purchase a new one. I would rather buy one with character and history.
