June 26, 201115 yr Here's my wife's anniversary present a couple of weeks late. The curio is solid red oak with the exception of the plywood backer for the mirror and man is it heavy. It is stained with an early american stain and 3 coats of wipe on poly applied the approved Larry Jenkin's method and rubbed and waxed with Trewax and 0000 steel wool.  Lighting comes from 2 20 watt Xenon lights and the cords ar hidden by an oak channel and snakled through the crown. It stands 70" tall, 34" across the top and 19" deep. Sure has been fun but glad to move on to something else. Â
