You know how wifey's are..  Never satisfied with the silverware drawer storage areas.

So, like the great Husband I am,  I designed and built a comprtmentalized silverware drawer insert.

Knda like the one's you can buy?  Maybe, but look closely at the arrangement of the compartments and how well they are sized.  

 

This one is 9 1/2" wide x 20" long to fit into a 9 3/4" wide drawer.  

Yous is bigger/smaller?  Measure the drawer, figure out the multiplyer 

( .8; .9; 1.1; 1.2; 1.5)  you get the picture.  Then resize all the parts to fit your drawer.

Nice work on a piece that is so easily overlooked. I know I have thought about all the plastic ones we have used but never took it to the shop to think about making one better suited for the Mrs. needs.
