July 22, 201114 yr I see that some of you guys have scroll saws lying around that may not be getting much use. If anybody is interested, my partner Sheila recently started teaching a beginner's scroll saw class at the Lumberjocks forum. It's really informal and you can jump in anytime (and it's free). She will be keeping each lesson short and is going into a lot of detail to help you get started on the right foot. She currently has 4 lessons posted. If you have any questions on any of the lessons, you can ask them on that blog page or via private message if you prefer.  Here's the link to the first class. You can navigate to the next class/blog by clicking the links near the top of the blog. Aside from these classes she also does a daily blog as well for anyone that may be interested.  Scroll saw class part 1  I hope we can encourage a few of you guys to dust of your scroll saws. Hope to see you there
July 22, 201114 yr KeithThanks for the post and the link. I just went through the first 4 lessons. Very impressive and very well paced for a beginner. I truly am impressed. I'm anxious to see how this plays out. I'm not sure of the level of our members but would highly suggest the class if for nothing other then a refresher course in the beginning and picking up different ideas. Thank You. Wayne MahlerGod bless and protect our troops that serve so we can be free.
