After just seeing John's stoppers, I realized I hadn't given you guys a link to a turner- Ruth Niles. She lives just a few miles from me. She has her own line of stainless steel bottle stopper and they are very reasonably priced. She has other turning accessories as well.

Her stoppers are not mirror finish- or at least the ones I got. They have the typical "stainless steel" look.
