Good Morning Friends,

To eliminate having to buy a number of GFCI interceptors for your bathroom remodel job. What could you do that would still meet the codes and pass when the inspector comes?

install a gfi breaker in the panel box for a dedicated bathroom circuit

My house is wired with multiple outlets wired through one GFCI, it trips when any of the attached outlets has a ground problem. I don't know if it is code, but that is how they did it.

Another thing they did was to dedicate the bottom outlet in some areas, to the switch  on the wall. That one threw me, I checked all outlets to see if the switch would operate it, except I checked the top outlet only. I had to remove the  outlet to see what was going on.

Install one GFCI in the first bathroom outlet string.

Lare..

One GFCI  receptacle in parallel with others in a stream is all that is necessary. Any problem in this circuit will trip all of the other outlets.   GCFI is mandatory in most locals for any outlet within 5 feet of  water source.

Good Morning Fellows,

Lewis gave the answer I was looking for however I also installed one in the first outlet in the bathroom and kitchen and to date have never tripped one other than to test them.
