August 12, 201114 yr Good Morning Friends,Whether you are caulking or placing some liquid nails on a panel so you can glue it to the wall and you lay the gun down till you have completed the chore only to find that the caulking gun had a runny nose and there is a pile of caulking or glue on the floor or where ever you placed the gun. What can you do to avoid this from happening?

August 12, 201114 yr   I just put a nice screw in the nozzle.   Usually just a drywall screw.  I also release the trigger, and the pressure.   Since I use as small a bead as I can, the drywall screw fits just right.   Plus,  I can reuse the screw as I go.   'and may the road raise up to meet ye'
August 13, 201114 yr Author Good Morning All,I like the one where you simply release the pressure as well as the wire nut or the cap that came with the tube. One can also lay a piece of cardboard on the floor so even if it does drip it won't matter for you can just throw it away. Thanks for your support.Â
