The top is 4 sheets of 3/4" mdf wrapped with 2" x 4" Douglas fir. Added a quick release vice, dog holes and Veritas bench dogs and the Veritas Wounder Pup. Sealed the surface with 1 coat of General Finishes Seal A Cell and 4 coats of General Finishes semi gloss Arm R Seal. I wanted to get the top finished first so I could use it. I plan on using several coats of Boiled linseed oil for the base. I can now stop using a fold-up table now that I have a respectable workbench.

Beautiful!!!  Isn't it good to be back in the shop?
