August 27, 201115 yr comment_41356 Good Morning Friends,When setting the gable end truss what is one sure fire way of having control of the truss as it is being raised so it will be safe and not come back down around your shoulders while it is being raised and set? Report

August 28, 201115 yr Author comment_41357 Good Morning Friends,A double tag line from the gable truss and down to the ground with a man on both sides of the wall to steady it till it is nailed to the plate and braced from the outside to hold it true and plumb. We also nailed a couple of firing strips along the top plate set 1 1/2" in so the truss would be flush with the top plates on the outside of the wall. Thanks for your support. Report
