August 29, 201114 yr  Week ago I was in my garage/ shop making set of rollers for supporting long board for my Delta 6 inch  jointer. In cutting a piece of board on the table saw, the part near the fence shot out and broke the glass on the overhead garage door. Got a new piece of glass Friday and installed.  Been in this house almost 8 yrs and it the first time had this happens. Usually real cautious when using tools. What I have not figured out yet is how the spring clamp got broke. Reason is it was not on the table saw.  Wayne Â
August 30, 201114 yr I've had pieces do that too, but never with that much force. Now, I usually use a push stick to move the pieces beyond the blade.
