August 31, 201114 yr comment_41158 Free hand sketches.. kinda abstractish.. kinda modernly formal.. two color.. 1/2" standoffs for each letter.. 3/4" standoffs for the rear of the mounting board.  Hand sketched each letter, cut it out on my old Delta Scroll saw, sanded, glued, painted and attached to each other with 1/2" diameter standoffs.  The "F" has 1/2" standoffs; the same with the "D" and "M." The bottom right of the "M" has a longer standoff to plumb the letter assembly.  Kinda different.. He's a couple images.. Oh yeah.. Their names are Dan and Michelle Flagel.  Larry         Lare.. Report

August 31, 201114 yr comment_41162 Thanks, Wayner..Should have said that the top two standoffs on the letter "F" have holes in them to hang the initials set on the wall or a mounting board. Lare.. Report
August 31, 201114 yr comment_41161 Didn't know you were looking for one. This one is old, but works very well. I added a "blow tube" kit to it rigt after I got it. John Moody said:Nice job Larry, Humm, guess there is no way now to talk you out of the Delta Scroll Saw. John MoodyJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com   Lare.. September 24, 201114 yr comment_41159 Larry, Looks really good!  My favorite font for letters is Cooper Black.  Letters are rounded and easy to cut.   SQ It it can't be fixed with glue and sawdust - it's not worth fixing. Report
