September 5, 201114 yr Author comment_41039 Good Morning Lewis,You are 100% correct with your answer, however there are those die hard woodworkers who swear that the 45º is good enough and I was one of them till I learned to use the scarf joint. Once the joint is put together and the seam is down to the floor one has to look very hard to even find it. Report
