September 5, 201114 yr Good Morning Friends,When you are running trim for a home whether it is yours or for someone else. Do you want the trim pre-stained or do you stain after installation?

September 5, 201114 yr Pre-finished as Adam said. I have been using the filler "pencils". After application/buffing there is little left to do.
September 5, 201114 yr  Also, keep some of the stain/finish around. That way, you can finish all the ends as you trim/cope/miter them.   'and may the road raise up to meet ye'
September 6, 201114 yr Author Good morning all,I agree with you all for this eliminates having to tape the walls and that includes a scarf joint on the longer run walls such as a hallway.
