Makita drill problems

Featured Replies

I have an older 12V makita drill.    One battery has died and gone to where ever they go to.   The second one is down, due to the charger not wanting to charge it back up.   The "breaker" on the charger keeps popping out.  This is an older style, with that LONG battery in the handle.   Model number is 6012HD.    Weird part?   On the label it also says DC9.6V.   Also says makita battery 9000.  Be nice to get this back to running,  and give my 18V B&D a break.

Excellent people to work with. Talk to Jason the owner. He knows everything about batteries and will put you with the right ones fast. They work superb. Have used them for many years. bob

Not sure if it's the battery, or the charger at fault.   Not sure if there is a way to check the charger.
