September 16, 201114 yr   This is the beginning of my cabinet for my INCRA router wonder fence, table and the 3 1/2 hp TRITON router. The cabinet is made from 3/4" maple plywood and will have a face frame made from poplar. There will be 3 narrow draws upper right for the INCRA templates, tools and bits and 2 wide drawers at the bottom that will house components of the wonder fence, 2 routers, & jigs. All the drawers will ride on full extension ball bearing glides. The router will reside in the compartment upper left with dust collection and a polycarbonate door with holes to allow airflow through the router compartment. On the top of the cabinet there will be foam weather stripping to seal the top to the base. The angle blocks are in dadoes in the top of the cabinet and are used to screw and level the top to the base. The joinery is dadoes and rabbits with Titebond 3. all of this will ride on double locking casters with 3" urethane wheels. once it's all together the table top will be at the same level as my work bench so I can handle long stock when needed. I'm still trying to workout the drawer fronts and figure out the dust collection port size along with how best to set up the baffle in the back of the router compartment to allow for efficient airflow that will remove as much dust as possible. Any help in this area would be most appreciated! My wife Debbie has been feeling much better this week and has been a tremendous help with this project.   I will post more photos as I progress but I won't get much accomplished until my weekend in three days, but then I'll be off for 5 days.
September 16, 201114 yr Nice looking cabinet Mike, Looks like it got it coming along nicely. I like the bracing in the corners. Should make it very stable. Please keep us posted on the progress. Â John MoodyJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com
