September 22, 201114 yr comment_40399 Good morning Friends,Well, it appears that I failed to post a quiz for yesterday so today will be for both days. When you have double hung wooden windows in the home and when closed and latched there is still a little air coming up between the two sashes. What would you do to remedy this situation? September 23, 201114 yr Author comment_40400 Good Morning Harry and Ron,A big fat BINGO for your answers and in some cases when there is not enough room to adjust the latches is to add a sliver of wood to the beveled edge of the bottom window that when latched it will force the gap to come closed and eliminate the gap. Thanks for your support.
