WOOD WORKING QUIZ for 24 SEPT 11 "a learning tool"

Good Morning Friends,

When working on a project it is nice to have a full set of plans to help you complete your chore of constructing the project.

True or False?

Most of my projects had/have no plans. The high boy, pictured somewhere on this site, did have plans. I could not have completed it without a full set of plans.

So, yes it's nice to have them when needed.

Plans? 106.gif  Plans?26.gif   The most I ever get is a picture or two, to go on.   Besides, getting plans from elsewhere means someone else got all the fun. 64.gif   All I need is ideas, and a mental "picture" of what I want to make.  A few notes, scribbled on a notepad, as I go along, comes in handy.

'and may the road raise up to meet ye'

I do it both ways but most of the time I at least draw out the idea and wing it from there.

Good Morning Fellows,

According to WOOD Magazine the answer is false; because at times a project might get set back to take care of something else and you lose your place and keeping track of where you are makes for confusion and frustration when you finally get back to the project that got set back. Also one might find errors in the plans that would not allow you to complete the project correctly.
