September 28, 201114 yr Good Morning Friends,During the coldest months of winter is it a good idea to have two front doors with a foyer type set up to help keep the cold air out and the warm air in?Kind of like a foyer where you could have a bench to sit in/on to take your boots off that may be covered with snow.

September 29, 201114 yr Author Good Morning Harry,You are so right and even around the patio door to the outside as my back door is that opens to the patio. My plan is to build a temporary three sided affair with a simple plywood roof cover like a shed type and rolled roofing for protection of leaks of rain water and the walls can be of 6 mill plastic with a door to be opened and closed before entering the house. A small bench could be on the side of the fixed door to set groceries on or just used for taking off some boots that may be snow covered.
