It's too quiet around here, I hope everybody is busy working on some holiday projects.

Yes Greg, things have been slow around. I know I have had my hands full with some commission jobs. Hoping once the cold weather starts things will pick back up.

We still got some good warm weather down here in my area, hoping it will cool down some soon. I've been keeping busy too. We are setting up at the local farmer's market tomorrow morning and if all goes well we'll be doing that every Sat. until Thanksgiving.

It has been quiet here too. I have install a wood (pellet) stove in my workshop so now I have no reason for not doing some cutting.

Isn't it nice to be able to get some things done around the shop though?

J P I know you'll be glad to get some heat in there, it's probably close to the winter season up there isn't it?

Summer months and before standard time are our slowest months Greg, hit and miss. Once the sun starts setting around 5pm and the air gets cold, this place starts to rock! You'll see, hang in there, and your doing a smashingly great job here buddy. Thanks for your efforts and help with our site.

Greg, It is getting cold up here but we still have some days with 60°. We had snow flakes last Friday.

Thanx John, and you're right it is always slow all over the different forums all through the summer months and it seems to pick up in late Oct.

JP come on down south we're still getting into the 80's during the day, last night was the coldest so far, it dropped down to 41 and felt nice, it's been a long hot summer. Now if we could just get some more rain, it's still dry as a desert around here.

Can't seem to get started...or finish what I've started.

Built a dust collector shroud for the miter saw from a $4.00, 33 gallon plastic tub and a toilet flange and some scrap 2Xs.

Working now on a hinged shelf for a grinder, belt sander and strip sander. It'll swing down when not in use.

Next on the agenda is to dismantle a tread mill and convert it to a sander. The rocks in our yard have more mechanical aptitude the I. This should be fun....just me and my Crescent.
