Wireless remote for your shop

Featured Replies

If your like me your shop is a small 2 car garage. The problem I had was that my dust collector is mounted on one wall and with a work bench, table saw, lathe etc...I find sometimes that I can't get to my DC switch because of the maze of tools, wood and clutter so I started looking for a wireless remote for the DC. The ones I found were expensive untill I found this at Home Depot: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202562992/h_d2/ProductDisplay?selectedCatgry=SEARCH+ALL&jspStoreDir=hdus&catalogId=10053&navFlow=3&keyword=070686507032&Ntpc=1&langId=-1&Nu=P_PARENT_ID&storeId=10051&Ntpr=1&ddkey=Search

It'll handle up to 13 amps, costs $15.00 and works very well.

After I bought mine a friend showed me the wireless system he found. His comes with 3 remote controlled switch oulets and they're controled with one remote, they're each on a seperate frequency. He paid $40.00 for his at lowes. They're sold mainly at Christmas time to control christmas lighting.

Thanks Mike, never thought about looking at those places. Will have to check them out. That would makes things a lot more convenient thats for sure.
