Stuff around my house

Featured Replies

some things I make are for the house, or so I am told by the War Dept.     A desk for the computer,  for a large stack of pine pallet lumber one year.    It even has one of those "Keyboard drawers".    Never used as such, it is too full.ning-sdc11840-40098-60.jpg?width=750Looks well used, don't it?Grin.gif  I was ordered  to make a "chimney cupboard" one year, and the next year after that, another one was made.   Just used as a "pantry", and since the "Decor" is a "Blue shade", it got painted as well.  Both sit around an old chimney "chase" .ning-sdc11841-40098-14.jpg?width=750Blue one does have a drawer in the bottom.  Unpainted does not.   Both have a center fixed shelf, with a pair of adjustables  added in.   Nothing real fancy.   Grin.gif

'and may the road raise up to meet ye'

Steve, I am sure you made those with minimal power as well, your work is highly functional, and hand made, just what the pioneers did. My hat off to ya.

Steve that is a great testimony to the piece you built. To have it well used means it was a welcomed, functional and a sturdy piece. Had it been one of those pieces from the box stores it would have been on the curb by now.

You are a true craftsman.
