October 5, 201114 yr Use weather resistant wood and an oil finish. But be prepared to re-coat every couple of years..Larry

October 6, 201114 yr Author Good Morning Fellows,Larry, has mentioned that using the wood that is resistant to the elements however I have used Thompson Water sealer but now use a product with cedar oil that drives all water out of the wood and never allows any to get back into the wood for it penetrates all the way through and lasts a life time and never needs a refreshing coat of stain or varnish. Thanks for your support.
