October 15, 201114 yr A few years ago I decided to try turning some Christmas ornaments. My first attempts were bulky and not much to look at. Then I got a few ideas, glued some wood together and went for it. I used "design as you go" plans   If you are looking for a challenging small project, try turning something like these.

October 15, 201114 yr Author I use a Jet mini, I won it from Wood Magazine by a hat draw, from one of the many shop tips I sent them. I no longer send any in because after I sent them, I got my Rockler catalog months later and low and behold, there was my shop tip tool in production and for sale. October 16, 201114 yr Very nice ornaments. Â I can imagine they would be very challenging. Â Â SQÂ It it can't be fixed with glue and sawdust - it's not worth fixing.
