If your home is built using trusses rather than ceiling joists, is it possible to re-locate walls to gain more room in a specific area? How can you be sure the walls are not load bearing walls?

Load bearing walls are not an issue when using full-span trusses. As most are.

You are 100% correct for this is a method used for so many different construction projects today, for they make the job much faster than cutting ceiling joists and rafters. With the use of trusses even though it is faster we lose the art of quality craftsmanship for cutting rafters and the rafter scale on the framing square becomes useless.
