October 22, 201114 yr This is the first box I have made for Loving Hands Memory Boxes. It was sent to a couple on Woodnet that needed one. I tried 9 times to make boxes out of Pine before I finally got the last one the way I wanted. It is made from Rosewood that someone gave me. I did have the middle of the lid made from a nice piece of Curly Maple, however, I flubbed that nice piece of wood up. So I made some changes and made it from 1/8 plexiglass instead. I sprayed the whole thing with Clear Poly semigloss. It cam out good, however, I do not like how the Poly flowed out very well.
