If you have ever wanted to turn one, here are the instructions and pictures to follow. As an added benefit he even added the instructions and pictures of the jigs he used. Let's see some pepper grinders here now. If you were looking for a Christmas idea, here it is and you still have time to make them. Check it out, http://www.thepatriotwoodworker.com/profiles/blogs/a-pepper-grinder?xg_source=activity  John MoodyJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com

October 25, 201114 yr Author Mike when you get that going it would be a nice blog also. I thought I was going to do that, but never got around to building the mold. Keep us informed on how it goes. Thanks Mike Dillen said:Very nice pepper grinder blog. November 3, 201114 yr Lewis, What a beautiful pepper mill!  Really like the way you positioned the piece at 70 degrees - very flattering. That's a very clever idea that could have many applications.  Good idea about using rubber bands.  Outstanding instructions. SQ   It it can't be fixed with glue and sawdust - it's not worth fixing.
November 3, 201114 yr Thanks, SQ!Mimi liked the pepper grinder design so much that we carried the idea over to some salt cellars.LewSQ said:Lewis, What a beautiful pepper mill!  Really like the way you positioned the piece at 70 degrees - very flattering. November 3, 201114 yr I added a blog to the salt cellar. It is listed on the right side of the home page, almost at the bottom. Or you can see it here- http://www.thepatriotwoodworker.com/profiles/blogs/salt-cellars.LewSQ said:Didn't you post that salt cellar on here somewhere?  I can't seem to find it.
