A Pepper Grinder Blog by Lewis

Featured Replies

Guys you have got to check out Lew's blog on making a Pepper Grinder. This is the best instructions and pictures I seen put together to turn a pepper grinder. If you have ever wanted to turn one, here are the instructions and pictures to follow. As an added benefit he even added the instructions and pictures of the jigs he used.

Let's see some pepper grinders here now. If you were looking for a Christmas idea, here it is and you still have time to make them.

Very nice pepper grinder blog. Informative and well laid out. I'll have to build one someday but right now Im venturing into casting my own pen blanks.

Mike when you get that going it would be a nice blog also. I thought I was going to do that, but never got around to building the mold. Keep us informed on how it goes.

Thanks

Lewis,

What a beautiful pepper mill!  Really like the way you positioned the piece at 70 degrees - very flattering. That's a very clever idea that could have many applications.   Good idea about using rubber bands.  Outstanding instructions.

It it can't be fixed with glue and sawdust - it's not worth fixing.

Thanks, SQ!

Mimi liked the pepper grinder design so much that we carried the idea over to some salt cellars.

Didn't you post that salt cellar on here somewhere?  I can't seem to find it. Would love to see it.

I added a blog to the salt cellar. It is listed on the right side of the home page, almost at the bottom. Or you can see it here- http://www.thepatriotwoodworker.com/profiles/blogs/salt-cellars.
