October 25, 201114 yr comment_39030 I got this done a few weeks ago, but I did not have a way to get pictures of it and get them posted on here. Its not a huge project I know, but for a full time Shipfitter, Full Time Farmer as well as being a dad to 3 kids and a husband, just getting something done in the shop was a HUGE accomplishment for me. Â The hardest part was casting the lead hold downs, but at their weight not even a hurricane could flip the pages on this recipe book holder. The project is made of Soft Maple and Mohogany, uses half-laps for jointery and is epoxied together. Â Anyway, here are some pictures of my Soft Maple Recipe Book Holder. Â Report
October 26, 201114 yr comment_39033 Nice Travis!!! I remember reading about this project and I was trying to conjure up images of what you were building, now it all makes sense!!! Good looking and very functional, it is also a work of art, excellent mechanics and workmanship, just beautiful.  John Morris The Patriot Woodworker Report
