Can anyone tell me what is the different between Model # G0555 and G0555P.  The Specs are the same on both of them.

Wayne, I am not sure the is the best answer, but it is what I came up with on my planer purchase.

 

If you look on their web site it says it is the same machine as the G0555 except for the white paint color. Since they are made in China, I am guessing only that they have or are changing to another supplier and going with the color change. If you read the specs, they are the same as was the case with the planer I just purchased. The only difference is the 100.00 or so cheaper in price. So does that mean they have used a part or something that is a 100.00 cheaper? I don't have that answer yet but it looks like they are the same.

Here's what is says on the Grizzly web site.

 

This machine is identical to our model G0555 with the exception of the dazzling white color".

That was one thought I had on changing supplier which would make sense in some way due to color change.
