October 30, 201114 yr I made these the other night for our cats, only thing wrong is that one of them needs horns instead of a halo, he's a terrorist. Â Â Greghttp://www.thesawdustfactory.net/
October 31, 201114 yr Greg, Those are sooooooooo cute!!!  I'm a cat lover and those would be cute on my tree.  Where did you get that pattern?  I love it! SQ   It it can't be fixed with glue and sawdust - it's not worth fixing.
October 31, 201114 yr Author Thanks SQ and Arlin. The pattern is one of Diana Thompson's and is available here :  http://www.scrollsawinspirations.com/default.asp She has a bunch of other great compound cut patterns there too, she includes full instructions with her patterns which are easy to follow Greghttp://www.thesawdustfactory.net/

December 25, 201114 yr Author Gene, these turned out to be pretty popular at the last 2 shows I did over all, I was asking $10 for them and did get just as many giving me the "$10 for that look" as were buying. If you don't mind mee asking how much are you selling them for. Also I have a pet groomer considering putting some in here shop, so that might be something you want to check into.Gene Tougas said:Good Morning, I also cut these. December 25, 201114 yr Thanks Greg for the information.  I'm thinking these would be a great way to use scrap wood.  I would like to make up a bunch and donate them to the Humane Society.  Anyone know if they take these kinds of donations?SQGreg Aksdal said:Yes they are SQ go to http://scrollsawinspirations.com/default.asp Diana has a bunch of great compound cut patterns on her site. SQ said:Greghttp://www.thesawdustfactory.net/
December 25, 201114 yr Author Yep Sue these are perfect for using up scrap, they are cut from 1 1/4 wide by 3/4 thick stock, and the wings and halos are from 1/8 ply. Diana has a method of making the halos on the lathe. If you get the patterns from her ask her about it.SQ said:Thanks Greg for the information. January 17, 201214 yr Author " Garmor" is what my wife came up with since he looks like a combination of Garfield the cartoon cat and Morris from some cat food commercial. Greghttp://www.thesawdustfactory.net/
January 17, 201214 yr Very creative... and now that you've explained it, it makes some sense... thanks. Spence
