Sue, This is the piece of spalted cherry that i was thinking about trying to make a small plate from, my only issue with this at the moment is how to attach it to the lathe.


it is about 6 1/8" x 4 5/8"x 1 5/8" thick.


 


Second image doesn't have as much color due to the flash being disabled so you could see the spalting

It it can't be fixed with glue and sawdust - it's not worth fixing.
