November 4, 201114 yr comment_38409 I'm looking to assemble a pen that has a stainless steel braid attached with CA to a brass pen tube and then casting that in resin. One of the challenges is cutting or trimming the stainless braid after it's attached to the brass tube without causing discoloration from the heat when cutting the braid with a dremel tool. I saw one of these in HD for $88.00 that uses a diamond blade for tile but I believe an abrasive cut off wheel could be used for metal. The water would keep the braid from overheating and leave a clean cut. It could also be used for tru-stone or any hard material. What do you guys think? Â Â Â Report
