November 5, 201114 yr Good Morning Friends,As I sit here typing this morning with a sweat shirt on over my clothes for the temperature is setting on 65º due to something happening to my furnace last night and I thought I was at a NASCAR race for the noise that was coming from the furnace sounded like I was at one of those races.Since this is Sunday and my furnace man is not open what do you think my best move will be in order to get some heat back in the house after I add another blanket to my wife's hospital bed?
November 6, 201114 yr I have a couple of portable oil filled radiator type heaters that work good in smaller areas, they take a little while to warm a room but when they do they are a steady source of heat.  Greghttp://www.thesawdustfactory.net/
November 6, 201114 yr Author Good Morning Fellows,You have no idea of how stupid I felt when I realized that I had a back up heater in the electric low energy electric heater that is good to heat up a large room of a couple of them for that matters. So when I got it out and started it running it truly helped the situation. I was finally able to make contact with my furnace man and he came right over and within an hour he got it taken car of. The new fan motor cost over $200 however he stated that he would send me a bill and give me time to pay it off in a few weeks or so. It sure is nice to have such good friends. Thanks for your support.
November 7, 201114 yr Ralph, sometimes it is surprising what people will do to help someone out of a bad situation. I'm glad you were able to get it fixed quickly. Greghttp://www.thesawdustfactory.net/
November 7, 201114 yr Author Hi Greg,You and me both for the wife being in the hospital bed could not do too long with out proper heat. I did however put on another blanket for her and she didn't complain too much. It is nice to have friends you can count on who will drop what he may have been doing and come directly to my situation.
