November 6, 201114 yr I saw this on FB and thought I would share this. Most of us scrollers are familiar with Mike Moorlach of Mike's workshop that sells Flying Dutchman blades, check out what he is doing with his scroll saw to help the people of his community. Without reading this I'd have never known how much he has done for the town he calls home.http://www.argusleader.com/article/20111105/VOICES/311040060/Ornament-sales-could-buy-holiday-dinners?odyssey=mod|newswell|text|Home|p Greghttp://www.thesawdustfactory.net/
November 6, 201114 yr I love this Greg, thanks for showing. Just goes to show, there is charity that abounds all over, if only we could get the government to back off with their charity and give the responsibility back to the local level with local philanthropist and churches, our country would be better off. Great story Greg, thanks again. John MorrisThe Patriot Woodworker

November 6, 201114 yr Great article!  He supports a cause he believes in while at the same time doing what he loves - scrolling.  What an honorable way to use his talents.   SQ It it can't be fixed with glue and sawdust - it's not worth fixing.
November 7, 201114 yr Author Something that wasn't mentioned in the article is that back in April or May Mike had a hip replaced, and is still able to accomplish this.  Greghttp://www.thesawdustfactory.net/
