November 17, 201114 yr Good Morning Friends,When running trim in a house some carpenters use 45º cut in the inside corners and were surprised to see the joint open up as the house moved through out the year.What method should they have used?

November 18, 201114 yr Right on, Gene!Cut one leg at a 90 degree angle and cope the other angle to fit the outside form of the trim. Mate the two pieces in the corner and a gap will never show.Larry
