November 19, 201114 yr 3" of snow and 4 degrees this morning! I tried to get the shop (garage) cleaned up this morning. Put my long johns on and headed out. I called it quits in 10 minutes!! It was on the short side of 12 degrees!! Needless to say, I went back inside and warmed up. It may be a few days anyway before I can make some sawdust. Had the cataract fixed in my right eye Tuesday so the doc said no dust for 2 weeks. Darn!! . Â Harry BrinkBulldog WoodworkingMontana

November 19, 201114 yr That weather is momma nature's way of telling you to HEAL! Had both eyes done a few years ago (one at a time). It's wonderful to see clearly. Even if it's all white and 3' deep! Â Gene'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.' G. K. Chesterton
November 19, 201114 yr Wow! Â That is darn right cold. Â Those shop projects can wait while your eye heals. Â It's 47 degrees here right now and raining cats and dogs. Â Â Â SQÂ It it can't be fixed with glue and sawdust - it's not worth fixing.

November 20, 201114 yr When its been 10 below zero and the wind blowing 10 to 30 miles an hour for several days it feels like spring time when the wind quits and temp goes up to -2. DAMHIKTOn the bright side I have a 85,000 BTU forced air furnace in the shop. Â
