November 22, 201114 yr Good Morning Friends,Since I am about to remove the carpet in our house with my wife being in the wheel chair and I stated that I was thinking about the new style of flooring. Do any of you fellows have and recommendations as to which to go with?
November 23, 201114 yr Author Good Morning Empty Chairs,I see that no one has an answer for me so I'll just have t wing it and maybe I can recruit my son in law to help with moving the furniture. Thanks all for your support.
November 23, 201114 yr I'd go with a laminate floor. Fast, simple, inexpensive and easy to roll a chair on. Gene'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.' G. K. Chesterton
November 23, 201114 yr Ralph, I got my flooring at Lumber Liquidators. I went with the engineered floor with the click lock. I choose a floor that was a stock item for them so that if I needed more or had problems I could go back and pick up extra. At Lowe's and HD I would have had to special order what ever I needed and order a certain quantity. I chose the Brazilian Koa for my flooring and went with the 5" width.   John MoodyJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com
