In searching for table saw since the motor on the  Delta bench saw went up in smoke, check local area and not really finding anything except lots of bench saws.  After looking for newer going between what Lowe has for 599.00 and now liking the table top and reviews this saw has started looking else where. I was still debating on what to do when my wife finally say order it.  Today I place an order for one of Grizzly big boys.  Model # G0715P 10" Hybrid Table Saw with Riving Knife, Polar Bear Series®.  Also order mobile base for that thing.  That one heavy toy.  No word yet on when I'll get it, but there Springfield MO store is not but 2 hrs from my house so I may get it by end on of next week. I'll take a picture of it when it get here.

I just keep hammering away.

That saw has raving reviews Wayne. I think you did good. One thing I admire is, with the showroom being that close to me, I don't think I could have waited for it be shipped! Your patient man Wayne, something I am great short supply of, patience.

Please keep us informed of its arrival, and if you need set up help, call on us, a lot of us have been there, and a lot of us own Grizzly equipment. Congratulations on the new purchase, and now it's time to show your better half how important it is to have good woodworking equipment! Make her something beautiful!

I can't wait either but It be here probably sooner than when I'm ready.  Got the shop in a mess again after cleaning it up, but still made room for it.

My intention is to get this big boy running.  My only concern is getting in change over to 110 volts.  I'll cross that bridge when it gets here.

Normally I would go get it.  But for 1 reason why having it shipped.  First is the weight.  It weights about 400 lbs crated.  They could load it for me but how in the heck I'm going to unload it when I get home.  This way it delivers to my driveway hopefully right up to the garage door.

Ah  ah  ah  shucks.  Good new first.  The mobile base and the 20 amp circuit breaker as Grizzly call it that I need to run the new table saw on 110 volts came Tuesday.  Now the so call bad news.  UPS call today wanted to know how they or me wanted to get the saw to my home.  Told them I thought they were to deliver it. What I'm told by UPS is they have no trucks with lift gate and the fork lift stay at their dock.   Two options.  1) They can bring it to my house but can only unload it at the street not on the driveway.  Or 2) I can come to their terminal which is abt 7 miles from my house and they load it onto my poor little Ford (that hate hauling anything heavy) and I take to my garage and unload.  Told them I'll get Thursday morning.  Maybe my son and one of my neighbor can help unload this big boy.  It suppose to come in 3 separate crates.  One for the fence.  One for the table top and then one for the cabinet.  To me, if I'm paying for the shipping that carrier should be able to deliver it to that address.  I never knew UPS would even haul heavy big items like the table saw.  Maybe I can get UPS to lay the saw on it back on my truck and then I can back partly into the garage.  That way I could drop the tailgate and slide it off the truck with some help.  Will let you know how that work. Hopefully the saw won't get damage this way

I know mine didn't weigh anywhere near this but it was heavy. Got some younger guys with good backs to help unload it. Took it piece by piece out of the box and moved it into the garage. The hard part came later when we had to turn it right side up. That's when the help came in handy.

Wayne, I ordered a 15" planer from Grizzly. I paid the extra for the lift gate service and UPS delivered it to my house and the driver put it on a pallet jack and rolled it into my shop for me. It weight over 600 lbs. They charged me 38.00 extra for the lift gate service but it was worth it for me.

Hope it works out for you. That planer was heavy. My son and I, after un-crating it could hardly get it off the pallet.
