December 3, 201114 yr Did a little sawing out in that COLD woodshop last night.  A few parts got made.  Breadboard edge was sawn.  Any tools that would be needed packed up.   Brought all back home, and started to work on it a bit today.  Breadboard still needs to be fitted. Edging for the main aprons was marked out, and cut.  Mitered at my "Hi-tech Mitersaw":Thin section will be glued in place to the leg,  a bead of glue along the apron, and a few nails to hold it in place.  Speaking of legs, needed to get rid of the saw marks, so another "Hi-Tech Tool" was used:I think it was made by Stanley.   This also shows the beaded aprons.   I'll grab my block plane later, and bevel the edges of the beading.  I then spent about an hour on glue clean up.  Titebond dries a nice white colour, easy to see, LOL.  I also added corner blocks, these will also be my way of attaching the top. Yes, that miter joint needs some work.  I'll get thay when I bevel the edges. I had to clip the inside edges of the legs with a chisel, made a better fit.   Those black streaks ARE nails, and their holes.   Oak does that to any iron product.   I haven't gone total hand tools on this, just about 1/2 way.  Well, enough, time to get off my break and back to work.  Stain will be an "Ipswich Pine".  Should bring out the grain nicely..
