WorkBench March-April 1965

Featured Replies

Well here we go again folks! A part of my classic WorkBench Magazine Collection. I was scanning these and displaying the plans and other articles of interest, and I slacked off awhile back. I dug them back out and thought I'd put another up.

As usual, I'll say my disclosure, I called WorkBench months ago and asked them if they minded if I scanned and posted articles and plans from these old magazines, they informed me that they really didn't care, and the company that started and owned this series of WorkBench, is gone, defunct, and there are no copyright infringements. So with my conscience clear, I am able to post these terrific pieces of woodworking magazine history!

Typically what I do, for our newest members, is I'll show the cover and the table of contents. Then one nice plan. In tonight's case, the Corner Cupboard.

Then if you the reader, would like to see other plans or articles from the table of contents, just let me know here and I'll get em up for ya! If they are plans, I'll put em up here in PDF format so you can download them onto your desktop for future use. So without further ado!

For our first plan, here is a cool corner cupboard, imagine this in curly maple, or cherry. Or go shaker style and build it in pine.

John,

The food center on page 44 has piqued my interest.

I'll get it up asap John! What that is is motor mounted in a cabinet like a router table and you can attach the blender container directly to the table top. And there is storage below for tools. Just imagine a router table build for blending and processing food.

no need to post it for me then John. I was thinking it was a storage or preparation type system
