December 9, 201114 yr While perusing the local list the other day I spied what looked like a very nice Delta Triple Duty for a very reasonable price. Now mind you I am not in the market for a grinder but how could I not call. I spoke with the seller and found that it was still available and after a few minutes I told her I would take it, sight unseen. I had to make some arrangements and was not able to make it for a couple of days and the seller said that if I really wanted it she would hold it for me. I made the trip this morning, 2 hours north and this is what I found. 1944 vintage My job is to give my kids things to discuss with their therapist

December 10, 201114 yr Nice find Ken! I love the looks of that machine and the total mass of it just looks way cool. It appears to have some vacuum ports out the rear of the wheel guards? And that metal looks thick, really thick. Are the top guards dual purpose? Looks like there are chords going to the guards that might supply power to some sort of lighting, very nice indeed.John MorrisThe Patriot Woodworker
December 10, 201114 yr Author The ports out of the guards are for sparks and some of the grinders had an optional dust collector. The collectors are harder to find than hens teeth. The eye guards are lighted. There is 2 lights in each one. Once I get it cleaned up I will try and get some photos. John Morris said:Nice find Ken!
