December 13, 201114 yr    Just a heads up. I went out to the shop this evening, and milled up all the parts for a Toy Box.   No heat in the shop, so, EVERYTHING was packed up into the ol'Caravan, and taken back to the house.   I went out and spent ( Yikes, ) a bit of money on a 2' x4' sheet of 1/4" plywood.   Since the panels will be just plywood, might as well be Oak.  I still have to ASSEMBLE this "kit" in the basement, and glue up a lid for it.  The frames for the sides are some more of that old oak.    Yes, I will get pictures posted after while.....   Question: Place this story here, or as a blog, with LOTS of pictures? December 13, 201114 yr Author  Got some things done tonight.Kit parts #1Kit Parts#2Frames assembled ( pay no attention to that old shag rug)  1/4" Oak plywood in the frames. Test fit of the frames, still aways to go.  I moved it up to the kitchen because the floor was better. That diagonal clamp is to pull things square.   Still to make:  glue this box up, install a plywood bottom in it, glue up the 5 boards for the top, sand it within an inch of it's life, install some hinges, and ask what flavour of finish they want. Well, it's a start..
