December 13, 201114 yr I have to make a number of large frames for church to hang on the walls to hold different types of printer media and they want the corners mitered (48"x36" exterior mesurments) and I need to make slots on the corners so that I can put in reinforcing splines in a contrasting wood. So I am in need of making a jig for my table saw to do this. If you have made a jig to make cuts on mitered corners to insert splines for your table saw I would appreciate you posting some photos of yours as well as commenting on anything that you particualy like or would change on it.Thanks for your help guys.Allen WorshamCorona, CAallenworsham@earthlink.nethttp://www.awcreationsandwoodcrafts.com'Graze in every man's field, but always give your own milk' J. December 14, 201114 yr That's a pretty large frame to hold in a typical table saw jig. Could you use a slot cutter and the router table? Maybe create a sliding holder the allows the frame to lay flat on the table and move the corners through the slot cutter blade.
