January 15, 201214 yr I needed to spray a small job last week and I don't have a seperate area to paint in. Usually I clean the shop and wait a day for the dust to drop before I paint but I was in a time crunch. Here's what I did. I picked up an old 6 foot golf umbrella at an auction last summer so I papered my assembly table and lacquer sprayed the item I was working on and opened the umbrella and covered the ite,. The umbrella blocked any settling airborne dust but let the air circulate.Ron DudelstonAbove and Beyond WoodWorks

February 21, 201214 yr Neat trick. I struggled with dust for years. Finally I found the solution:General Finishes Enduro Pre Cat 181. Cures up dust proof in mere moments. Plus it's a beautiful tough as nails finish.
