Question: How do you control spam, allowing folks to posts blogs on your site. We've had a heck of a time with our member area, and removed it because of this reason. Our new site will have a forum page like lumberjocks.

Frank, our spam alert is a pretty good one. It's also why we pay big bucks for this forum to be hosted by the folks we chose. They have some great tools for us site owners at our disposal to help block spammers, rarely does one get by us and when it does they are shut down within minutes.I think we have had two spammers in the last 6 months. Myself and John Moody are always vigilant for spammers as well and again, they just don't last long here, minutes. We feel the security and comfort of our members is paramount here.
