January 24, 201214 yr Author comment_34868 Yep, The patterns for these have a different figure on each side, I'll post a pic of one of the patterns so you can see what I'm talking about. These patterns came from a book called 128 compound cut patterns by Sam Keener. As far as sanding goes since the actual piece comes out of the middle of the block of wood there is very little sanding. When I do need sand I use either a scrap of sandpaper or another good tool to have is emery boards used for finger nails, I buy them from the $ store, you can trim them to size and use them like a small file, another good method of getting rid of the fuzz on the edges of scroll saw projects is to use a pencil torch and just pass it over the edges lightly.
