January 25, 201214 yr Well, yesterday I did the milling of the 40 pieces for making 10 frames for church out of 5/4 Beech. Today it was 6 glorious hours in the shop making rabbits. The frames need to have 2 different rabbits with one at 1 1/6"Â and 1/2" deep which requires 2 passes. This is for the printed media to slide into. The second rabbit is 1/2" and 1/4" deep to receive the 1/4" hardboard backing. Since the media will be installed by sliding it in from the top, the side pieces need to have stopped rabbits at the bottom. So while the rabbits were pretty much straight forward, they were very time consuming with multiple set ups. I will be taking tomorrow off as I have to get things ready for our Wednesday night Bible Study Group, but I will be back in the shop on Thursday to do some sanding and assembly.
